Himani loves her life and big part of her life is her work. She enjoys working with people and helping them get better in their daily functions. For her, seeing her patients’ progress is very rewarding and that keeps her motivated to do more and beyond for her patients. She obtained her Physiotherapist degree from India and then moved to Canada to explore the cold part of the world. Her love for mountains and nature ended up bringing her to Rocky Mountain House. She has been working as a Physical therapist in private practice for over 4 years in Canada.
In her treatment, Himani incorporates manual therapy and different types of modalities including active therapy (exercise program). She believes education plays an important role in her patients’ recovery and it is a key part of her therapy. She also is certified to perform Dry Needling/IMS technique and incorporates needling to uplift the over all effect of care. She is interested in treating musculo-skeletal injuries and pain, TMJ pain, sports injuries.

Our experienced Physiotherapist Maunik Bhavsar, graduated with bachelor’s of Physiotherapy from India in 2013. After gaining experience as a Physiotherapist he moved to Canada for further growth and learnings. Here, he completed his education in Health and Fitness Management and Introductory Vestibular Rehabilitation course. Since 2017, Maunik has been practicing as a registered Physiotherapist in Alberta.
Maunik idealizes client specific approaches to meet the functional goals. He believes that the exercises are all beneficial in many aspects of life and incorporates them in his treatment planning. Along with exercises, Maunik uses soft tissue and/or joint mobilization techniques, shockwave therapy and other therapeutic modalities to optimize patient performance.
